How much are escape room tickets?
Sunday - Friday:
$30.00 per person (+ sales tax)
On Saturdays only:
$90 base price (+ sales tax) which includes admission for up to 3 tickets. Any additional tickets are $30 each. Groups of 2 are still welcome to play, but must pay the base price.
As a reminder, all games are private! We will not add strangers into your booked game.
How does an escape room work?
It's a FUN, problem solving experience perfect for exercising your brain and facilitating teamwork using clues, keys, codes, and hands-on tasks! You and your team have 60 minutes to complete the objective and will need to work together in order to succeed.
Do we need a minimum number of players to play the escape room?
No - however, please be aware that all games have maximum amounts. We recommend at least 3 players for each game. All games are private. The best size group is typically around 4-5 players.
Can I enter into the game and just spectate without paying for a ticket?
No. Anyone entering the game must purchase a ticket. Whether you plan to just watch or not, you will still be charged for admission into the game. Also, we do not have a viewing area in the lobby for you to watch the groups play.
Are the escape rooms difficult?
Each room is unique and yes - they are all challenging. You can choose between Competitive (up to 5 hints) and For Fun (unlimited hints) modes. Let your game master know which one you prefer before your game begins. Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe is a good choice if you are a newer to escape rooms. Down at the Boardwalk is good if you have at least 3 players and Dreamcatcher is good if you have played several escape rooms.
Are we actually locked in the room?
No! At any time, you can exit the game if you wish. All games have easily accessible exits, and we do not lock our doors.
Are the rooms very tiny?
We get asked this question a lot. In fact, the rooms are fairly large. They are large enough to accommodate the maximum number of people the game recommends (6 people in "Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe”, 7 people in the “Dreamcatcher” and 10 people in "Down at the Boardwalk”). Our largest game is “Down at the Boardwalk.” “Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe” is our smallest game and we only allow up to 6 players inside that game.
Are we handcuffed or blindfolded?
Definitely not!
Who designed your rooms? Can I play these rooms anywhere else?
We design our own rooms! Our rooms and stories are completely owner original and you will not be able to play our games anywhere else.
Do we need to arrive early?
Yes! Please arrive exactly 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. This will allow us to check you in, go over rules and introduction, and allow time for members of your group to use the restroom. Your room starts at exactly the time you signed up for. Keep reading the FAQs to find out what happens if your group is late.
What if I want to make a reservation but do not know how many players I want to bring?
Since all games are private, we recommend booking for the number of players that you are positive will be attending. As long as you make the reservation for at least 1 player (Sunday - Friday) or pay the base pay of $90 (on Saturdays), the game will be reserved for you. If you bring any additional players, we will be able to charged upon arrival to the facility. We also accept cash. Please be aware of your game’s maximum player capacity.
What is the minimum age requirement to do a room?
We suggest that the minimum age is 8. The puzzles and riddles may prove to be too difficult for anyone younger. If you choose to bring younger players, an adult must be present in the room with them at all times. We do not baby proof the rooms, so younger children will need to be carefully monitored by an adult to ensure their safety. All of our games are family friendly.
Are children priced differently?
Children 0-6 years old are free. You do not need to purchase tickets for them. Max of 3 free children per game. Must be accompanied by a paying adult. If you are bringing free children with your group, you must contact us immediately after booking via email or phone. On Saturdays, you must still pay the base price of $90. Any free children will be counted toward what is owed past the $90.
When we reserve a room, will it just be my group in the room?
Yes. All of our games are private.
What should I bring with me?
Upon arrival, we will ask for the name your reservation is under. You do not need to print anything to give to us. We also recommend wearing comfortable clothing. If you wear glasses, we suggest you bring them with you as you may be required to read at times during your game.
Where are the group photos posted?
All group photos are posted to our Facebook and Instagram accounts for you to share, save, or tag yourselves in! If you would not like your photo posted online, please let us know and we can take the photo with your personal phone only.
Are the rooms scary?
“Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe” and “Down at the Boardwalk” are the most family friendly as far as atmosphere. “Dreamcatcher” is also considered family friendly, but is dimly lit and has a mystical feel.
Do you host parties with time for food and drink?
We do not have a party space inside our building. There are nearby places to eat and drink that we can recommend if you give us a call.
Is your building ADA compliant?
Yes, our doorways, hallways, and bathrooms are ADA compliant. If you have any concerns about this prior to your visit, please give us a call or stop in and we can help answer your questions and offer accommodation suggestions.
What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy: We have a no refund policy; however, we will allow you to reschedule your escape room time slot as long as you contact us at least the day prior to your scheduled game. See below for criteria.
(Up to the Day Prior) We will allow you to reschedule your experience.
(Same Day) No reschedules are permitted. In the event of a power outage at our location, we have the right to reschedule your experience. If there is severely inclement weather (ex. snow, flooding, hurricane), both parties have the right to reschedule the event for a different day.
What if our group arrives late?
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled booking to allow for rule explanations and waiver signing.
If your entire group is late, we will try to accommodate you but there is no guarantee. If there is another group booked after your experience, you will unfortunately lose any time you have wasted. If some members of your group are late, the game will start and those people will join the rest of the group when they arrive.
Can we play intoxicated or under the influence?
No. If that activity is part of your plans, we strongly advise that you do it after the escape room. This is a game that involves solving puzzles and completing tasks. You will want to be 100%. If we notice that you are intoxicated or under the influence, you will be asked to leave, as we have the right to refuse entry.
Are there leader boards?
Of course! We have a display in our lobby of teams who were worthy enough to make it up there. The criteria for making onto the leader board is different for every room, so speak with a game master for more information. If someone in your group has already played the room, your entire team is not eligible to be on the leader board.
What if we have already played and want to come back to try the same room again?
That’s no problem! All we ask is that you do not spoil the game for any of the other players in your group that have not played the game yet.
How often do you create new escape room designs?
Our plan is to change at least one room annually. Once this time approaches, we will shut down only one room and quickly convert it to a completely new theme and design. We have a lot of ideas! The new room can take several months to open.
Do you have any portable games that you can bring to an event at a different location?
We are not running any portable games at this time.
I want to hide a gift in one of your puzzles as a surprise for someone in our group. Can you do that?
ABSOLUTELY! We love when you come up with ideas to personalize your experience. Be sure to contact us ahead of time so we can properly discuss how you would like the gift to be found and at what point in the game.
